Even without pain, our lives can be a series of ups and downs, highs, and lows. It's easy to get caught up in a pattern of negative or worrisome thoughts about the pain.
Mindfulness can be defined as a mental state that involves being fully focused on "the now" so you can acknowledge and accept your thoughts, feelings, and sensations including pain without judgment. To get started, all you need is a comfortable place to be able to practice the meditations which take 10-15 minutes each day. The mindful meditations help train the brain so that we can be more mindful in our everyday lives, relieve our pain, and improve our wellbeing.
